Meet Team CURA

Adriana Wignall – Founder / owner

Adriana’s healing journey began long before her professional training. After enduring significant childhood trauma, she experienced firsthand how the body holds stress, protection, and unprocessed emotion. That early awareness became the foundation of her life’s work — a deeply personal commitment to self-healing that gradually evolved into guiding others toward the same.

In 2017, Adriana became a certified Reiki practitioner, marking her first formal step into the healing arts. As she continued studying meditation and energy work, she also gained experience in studio management and the broader wellness industry, learning not only how to hold space but how to cultivate sustainable, heart-centered environments for growth.

By 2019, she discovered the Kaiut Yoga Method — a turning point. The practice’s focus on joint health, nervous system regulation, and meeting the body exactly as it is felt like the missing piece. What began as personal restoration soon became a calling. Adriana went on to study directly with Francisco Kaiut to become a certified teacher, integrating structural and physical healing with the energetic work she already loved.

Her path continued to expand. In early 2024, Adriana stepped into business ownership and founded CURA Yoga Center — a natural next step and a bold commitment to spreading waves of healing throughout Boulder and beyond. In 2025, she completed her Reiki Mastership, expanding upon her dedication to this mission of healing- for all.

Today, Adriana teaches Kaiut Yoga and offers private Reiki Rejuvenate sessions, creating spaces that feel safe, aligned, and accessible. Each offering reflects the building blocks of her own journey — from healing within to holding space for others to do the same.

Kathryn Lucatelli – kaiut yoga

Kathryn attended her first Kaiut Yoga class in the fall of 2019 and knew right away she’d found something special. She noticed her body being drawn into a consistent practice and began training with Fransisco Kaiut in 2021, fascinated by the brain/body connection this method elegantly cultivates.

Practicing and teaching Kaiut Yoga supports all aspects of her work in the world: community building, art making and teaching people simple ways of consulting with their higher intelligence to make decisions. Kathryn brings the richness of these interconnected passions to her teaching, delighting in connecting people to the practice, to the intelligence of their own nature and to each other.

Sol Castells – Slow Flow & Restorative Yoga

Sol began her journey in the world of yoga a few years ago. What started as simple curiosity soon unfolded into a path of deep connection — with her body, her breath, and the world around her.

Through dedicated practice, she discovered that yoga is much more than movement; it is a way of being, of listening, and of living with presence.

Movement and dance have always been integral parts of who she is, as has communication — both serving as ways she expresses herself and connects from the heart.

Sol is a certified Ontological Coach and has completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Vinyasa Style, followed by a 30-hour Restorative Yoga Training.

Teaching yoga is one of her greatest joys. Sol loves holding space for students to explore, reconnect, and find their own rhythm within this beautiful practice of self-awareness, healing, and becoming.

Lauren Pass Erickson – DANCEmandala Movement Meditation

Lauren Pass Erickson, MA, R-DMT, LPC (she/they) is a Dance/Movement Therapist and Certified DANCEmandala Movement Meditation Facilitator. They believe the deepest healing work is reconnection to our bodies’ authentic rhythms and movements.

Their own transformative journey into embodiment, meditation, and creative movement inspired them to offer these practices to others. After completing a graduate degree in Somatic Counseling from Naropa University, they opened a private practice in Boulder that focused on helping queer and neurodivergent adults heal from past trauma, learn to skillfully move with their emotions and nervous systems, and fully embrace their authentic selves.

Lauren offers individual therapy, group therapy, dance meditation sessions, and a variety of educational embodiment workshops – their office happens to be downstairs from CURA!

Melissa Carey – Sound Healing with Meditation & Pranayama

Melissa Carey weaves yoga, mantra, music, and meditation into a soulful practice of self-love and acceptance — one that embraces both challenge and joy as pathways to wholeness.

Rather than striving to “fix” ourselves, she invites students to awaken the body’s innate wisdom to heal. Her sessions cultivate awareness, resilience, strength, and flexibility — not just in the body, but in the mind and heart.

Through her teaching, Melissa guides each person back to their inner depth, trusting that true wisdom arises from within.
